Sprintex Treadmills at FIBO 2026: Natural Gait Through Innovative Slat-Belt Technology

At this year's FIBO 2026, Sprintex Treadmills presented their vision at stand 6A93: providing the ultimate running experience through innovative slat-belt treadmills. The showcased solutions demonstrated how modern technology can enable a nearly natural gait, distinguishing itself from traditional conveyor-type treadmills.

An Authentic Movement Experience

The slat-belt treadmills presented at the fair were designed to meet the needs of various running styles. The design of the belts enables a movement flow that supports a natural gait. Because the belts sit on 114 ball bearing trolleys, they offer high stability alongside frictionless movement, which increases energy efficiency during operation and allows for a natural flexibility of movement.

In the product presentation, several models were introduced to cover different requirements:

  • Sprintex Z70 Lamellenlaufband: This premium model was designed for fitness studios and high-end home studios. It combined a 22-inch display with biofeedback functions, virtual runs, and multigrip resistance training.
  • Sprintex Z50 Lamellenlaufband: As an advanced device for daily use, the Z50 offered smart extras such as a large display, integrated incline options from 0–20%, and the possibility for resistance training.
  • Sprintex Z30 Lamellenlaufband: This compact entry-level model was designed for space-saving applications in home studios, featuring a 17-inch display and a running surface of 60 cm x 137 cm.

Relevance for Professionals and Trainers

For trainers and studio operators, the technological differentiation between the models was particularly interesting. While the Z70 stood out with advanced features like its internet-capable display, the Z30 offered a robust solution for areas where space is limited. The shock-absorbing nature of the slat-belts also makes them an interesting choice for both athletic use and rehabilitation.

With the presentation of these high-quality devices at the German location, Sprintex Treadmills (produced by Reha-Stim Medtec GmbH) underscored a commitment to quality and performance in cardio training. The combination of robust construction and the focus on a natural gait made the showcase a technically sound look at modern running technology.
